What we save
Creating or sharing a wheel saves its title and choices in our database. Each time you spin, we save the wheel, the randomly chosen entry, the time, and a unique result link. Saved wheels and results currently have no automatic expiry.
A share link is public
Anyone with a wheel or result link can view it and pass it on. A wheel link opens that wheel; a result link shows the original result. Links are not listed in a public directory. Shared pages ask search engines not to index them, but that is not an access restriction. Please don't put passwords, sensitive personal information, or anything private on a wheel.
Cookies and browser storage
One essential, secure session cookie protects form submissions and spins from unwanted requests. It expires when your browser session ends. Your sound, music, and motion preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Server logs and abuse prevention
The web server may log your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and browser information for operation and security. Short-lived hashed address counters limit excessive requests and expire after two minutes; expired entries are cleared on subsequent requests. Your IP address is not attached to saved wheels or results.
Social sharing
Social sharing buttons open the service you choose with your share link. No social network scripts are loaded on this site. Once you visit a social network, its privacy policy applies.
Sound, with your say-so
Sound effects play after you interact. Background music is opt-in, and the header controls let you mute either. You can pause decorative movement in the footer. We also respect your device's reduced-motion preference.
