THE METHOD BEHIND THE MADNESS

Roll up.
Let go. Spin.

A very small learning curve. A very dramatic reveal.

Three steps to a plot twist

  1. Add your choices. Use Make a wheel to add 2–10 entries, with up to 60 characters each. Give it a title and save.
  2. Give it a spin. Click the big button, the middle of the wheel, or press Space. The wheel spins for the length of the spin sound, then announces the winner.
  3. Share the show. Share your wheel so friends can spin it, or share a saved result to show exactly what won. Every spin gets its own link.

How many slices does the wheel have?

An even number of choices uses 10 slices, repeating the choices in their original order. Yes and No alternate five times each. An odd number of choices uses that number of slices: 3 choices get 3 slices, 5 get 5, and so on, up to 10 choices.

Is the wheel random?

Yes. The server uses a cryptographically secure random number generator to pick one entered choice with equal probability. The animation then lands on a matching slice. Visual repeats do not add extra chances, even when 4, 6, or 8 choices repeat unevenly across 10 slices. Repeated spins are independent, so the same choice can win again. If you enter the same label more than once, each entry counts separately.

Does sharing a result spin the wheel again?

No. A result link preserves its original winner and time. Opening it does not create a new spin. You can click Spin to make a new, separately saved result.

Can I make a wheel from a URL?

Absolutely. Add comma-separated options and an optional title as query parameters. For choices containing commas, use repeated options[] parameters. Opening the link prepares the wheel; spinning or sharing saves it.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Always free, no account required. Use it for dinner decisions, classroom picks, game-night turns, team names, and other little dilemmas.

Sound and movement

The speaker button controls effects; the music note turns background music on or off. Your browser needs a click before it can play audio. The footer's light control pauses decorations. With reduced motion enabled, the wheel reveals its saved result without a long spinning animation.
